What are your clinical interests and specializations?
I specialize in working with cancer survivors and helping them return to their new normal either during or after cancer treatments. I enjoy treating the whole body to address orthopedic and lymphatic issues to best treat my patients. With each session I bring joy, compassion and humor!
What inspired you to become a physical therapist?
I have always absolutely loved science. I have also absolutely loved people. I knew from a young age that I would go into health care, and physical therapy checked off so many of my boxes. Still one of the best decisions I've made.
What do you appreciate most about working at Creative Rehab?
I have been with CR for over a decade now and can confidently answer this question! The autonomy, encouragement and trust I get from Nichole is second to none. I love having 1:1 sessions with my patients for 45 minutes. I have lived in Gurnee for over 20 years and have raised my 3 kids in Gurnee schools- I love being part of this community and seeing my patients out and about. Also, being able to work in a private practice setting allows me to treat my patients with my whole heart and get creative at getting them better.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I have been married to my childhood sweetheart since 1999 and have three children (and 3 adorable dogs!). I have volunteered in hospice since 2018. I love reading, kayaking, exercising, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
